The Company is established with the basic objective of reviving the handloom industry of Bangladesh, which has been well known for centuries for its excellent handloom fabrics. Yet, the handlooms have languished in the recent past because of a limited domestic market. Lack of working capital shortage of raw materials like yarn & dyes and competition from machine made fabrics.
Grameen Check fabrics are available in different fabric constructions. Buyers can specify any combination at color, thread count, design & construction according to his demand. During the last 4 years, Grameen Uddog has exported more than 15 million yards of fabrics to Europe & USA. |
