We are able to supply stock of 1870-80s Rose Chintz Fabrics.
Each Panel : 108" x 28"
Condition : Excellent
Description : On a field of cream the roses and tulips in various shades of red to pale pink create a scene of lovely serenity. Lavender and purple fuchsia are used sparely throughout. Multiply shades of greens are also in play on the leaves. A very romantic print. There are three panels not without issues. I have tried to capture the damage on film so please look closely on the larger photos. One panel has some sooty discoloration in places and six dime sized holes at one end. Another of the panels has two small holes and the third panel has a stain on the edge at one end and just below the stain is a vertical tear with a small piece missing at the edge. It seems like a lot of damage but how often do you find this much period fabric in with such an incredible print? There is more than enough here to cover some chairs or make some beautiful pillows for a bedroom.
